Eucalyptus Honey is produced from mid-June to early August.
From eucalyptus flowers, of which the countryside of Santadi (a small village in the Southern Sardinia) and its neighboring areas abound, the bees produce honey with a very particular and characteristic taste.
After the honey extraction which takes place in the laboratory, the honey is not subjected to no transformation, but it is left to mature in stainless steel containers for about ten days and then placed in pots.

Eucalyptus Honey contains many antioxidants. It is mainly used against coughs and typical respiratory diseases such as colds, bronchitis, sinusitis and sore throat.
