FEATURES AND PRODUCTION

Corbezzolo Honey is known for its properties and for its marked bitter taste which is its peculiarity and which, together with the reduced quantities produced annually, makes it honey with higher commercial sales value.
Production varies greatly from year to year, in fact, due to the period in which it is produced, the work of bees is difficult due to climatic conditions, in fact honey harvest often has a high moisture content, for this reason it is subjected to the dehumidification process.
It is produced in the mountains of Santadi (South Sardinia) from October to December.

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

Strawberry Tree Honey, is considered an antioxidant and an excellent cure-all for people suffering from asthma, bronchitis, flu and sore throat.

ADVICE FOR USE

In the kitchen it can be used in purifying herbal teas, tonic drinks, smoothies with already sweet fruit, with sweet cheeses (Sardinian pecorino, Parmigiano Reggiano).
Excellent to be enjoyed in fried raviolini and seadas.
