Eucalyptus honey has an amber color, tends to crystallize rapidly, appearing in medium or fine crystals.
Once crystallized, its color varies to beige-grayish.
With a strong and intense flavor, particularly balsamic and not excessively sweet.

FEATURES AND PRODUCTION
Eucalyptus Honey is produced from mid-June to early August.
From eucalyptus flowers, of which the countryside of Santadi (a small village in the Southern Sardinia) and its neighboring areas abound, the bees produce honey with a very particular and characteristic taste.
After the honey extraction which takes place in the laboratory, the honey is not subjected to no transformation, but it is left to mature in stainless steel containers for about ten days and then placed in pots.
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Eucalyptus Honey contains many antioxidants. It is mainly used against coughs and typical respiratory diseases such as colds, bronchitis, sinusitis and sore throat.
ADVICE FOR USE
It can be used as a sweetener in tea or herbal teas, combined with seasoned and savory cheeses such as parmesan and parmesan or with low-fat cheeses; also excellent on yogurt.
It is also used for making sweet and sour sauces.
