FEATURES AND PRODUCTION

Millefiori Honey is a precious source of energy, useful for athletes, children, pregnant women, convalescents and the elderly.
It is produced both in spring and in autumn from the nectar of flowers spontaneous plants present in the Santadi area (South Sardinia) and in the neighboring areas including heather, asphodel, lavender, rosemary, citrus and thistle. Millefiori Honey is extracted from the honeycombs by means of centrifugal force and filtered inside stainless steel ripening vats, where it is left to rest for about ten days and then placed in pots. Does not undergo preservation heat treatment.

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

It has a high mineral content and can be useful for stimulating the digestive system and intestines.

ADVICE FOR USE

Millefiori Honey can be used to sweeten coffee or milk, for breakfast on rusks, in natural yogurt, on fruit salads and to prepare cakes and biscuits. In the kitchen it is excellent to accompany cheeses and to flavor salads.
