ABBAMELE

Abbamele is a decoction obtained from the prolonged cooking of the honeycomb, containing to varying degrees, honey, water and pollen.
It is always produced after the honey extraction of the Eucalyptus honey, (in the period between the end of July and the beginning of August).
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
The Abbamele has antibiotic, antiviral, immunostimulating, anti-inflammatory, healing and vessel protective properties.
It is a energetic food very useful for athletes, young people and to the elderly.
ADVICE FOR USE IN THE KITCHEN
It is mainly used for the preparation of typical Sardinian sweets such as "Pan'e saba".
It can be tasted on seadas, fresh ricotta, fruit salads, vegetable salads, aged cheeses, white yogurt and ice cream.

Millefiori Honey is a precious source of energy, useful for athletes, children, pregnant women, convalescents and the elderly.
It is produced both in spring and in autumn from the nectar of flowers spontaneous plants present in the Santadi area (South Sardinia) and in the neighboring areas including heather, asphodel, lavender, rosemary, citrus and thistle. Millefiori Honey is extracted from the honeycombs by means of centrifugal force and filtered inside stainless steel ripening vats, where it is left to rest for about ten days and then placed in pots. Does not undergo preservation heat treatment.

It has a high mineral content and can be useful for stimulating the digestive system and intestines.
ADVICE FOR USE
